Pink Sauce Pasta

The Best of Both Sauces

Creamy white sauce meeting tangy tomato in one plate — 50 g of each sauce with 50 g boiled pasta and 5 g Power Sprinkle.

Ingredients

  • 50 g white sauce (see the White Sauce Pasta recipe)
  • 50 g red sauce (see the Red Sauce Pasta recipe)
  • 5 g Power Sprinkle
  • 50 g boiled pasta
  • Extra oregano and chilli flakes to finish

Method

  1. Prepare the white sauce and the red sauce as given in their own recipes.
  2. Pour the 50 g of red sauce into the 50 g of white sauce, a little at a time, stirring gently. The sauce turns a soft pink.
  3. Adjust the seasoning and turn off the heat. Let it stand a minute until it stops bubbling.
  4. Stir the 5 g Power Sprinkle through until completely smooth.
  5. Fold the 50 g boiled pasta in and serve immediately.
